Starting today, and after considering the growing immigration of English-speaking people to our commune, Memoria Pichilemina has launched an English-language edition. This just-launched edition will publish articles written in this language, to ease access to knowledge of our history and events occurring in our area, for readers who do not master the Spanish language.

After sharing the news our newspaper would become bilingual on social media, commenter Óscar Sepúlveda Jorquera said: “Nice! I hope that the English version of the site is updated at the same time as the Spanish version”. Our compromise is that a great portion of this newspaper’s new contents can be published in a translated version.
